the super stick mani
I feel like a better person when my nails are done… there I said it! I have been a gel gal since I can remember. I LOVE it. But with 2 kids and working full time getting myself consistently to a nail salon and sitting still for 45 minutes has just becoming less and less realistic. And thank you inflation a gel mani these days all said and done is almost $80! I have been looking for an alternative for years. During Covid I bought the olive and June diy set. I have also bought the Olive and June pressies. After years of research I think I have finally found the winner… olive and June super stick mani!!They stay on for 7+ days (going on day 9 as we speak). They actually look like gel, you can cut and file easily, and the set is only $8!!!! It is not that difficult to apply. The only time consuming part is that you have to match up the size of the press on to the size of your nail. Pro tip write your numbers down so after you do it the first time it is super quick and easy every time after. This mani set is in a league of its own. It is the economical option nothing compares. Run don’t walk to get your super stick mani!!!
the wide leg
I am currently on a postpartum journey! And what better way to celebrate one of the hardest seasons of life than taking yourself denim shopping! So fun right?! It maybe was not as terrible as I was expecting but I am not going to lie there were definitely some tears of frustration. All of that said I am feeling really passionate about the wide leg!! I think it is a universal fit and you can easily dress up or down depending on your shoe. And the best part… there are really great options no matter your budget. I was feeling low and so I did splurge on what I would consider the “best”. One of my postpartum friends recommended the Agolde Ren Wide Leg. It did not disappoint!! It doesn’t really have stretch and has good structure and made me feel less “hippy”. There was no cling. I will caution though size down from whatever you think feels good in the moment. Because they have no stretch… they do stretch out! A better option is the KUT Wide Leg. They have more stretch than the Agolde but also a flattering fit. Because of the stretch they are more form fitting through the thigh and butt. Lastly the Target Wide Leg option is good and definitely won’t break the bank. I will say though for my postpartum friends they hit right above the belly button so I wasn’t loving the fit in the moment. However, one of our other post partum besties actually loved the fit for her evolving post baby bod and really appreciated the price point. It is a more rigid fit. But length and quality are amazing for $30! So definitely worth the time it would take to try them on.
We highly recommend all 3 of these wide leg options for an easy flattering fit!
I’ve been dressing them up with these booties or I love a great tennis shoe. Gen z would probably cringe at this comment but for the millennials out there I do like a more fitted top or sweater. Easy to pair back with a great cardi (totally having a moment right now) or even a great button down. Happy shopping and share with a bestie!
